This Hack focuses on finding and developing technology-based solutions to address challenges related to the low efficiency of local businesses and the limited access of entrepreneurs to local, national, and regional markets. This challenge primarily affects Yemeni youth, who face high unemployment rates and limited economic opportunities due to the impact of conflict on infrastructure and traditional economic activities. Finding innovative digital solutions is crucial for improving the livelihoods of Yemeni youth, enhancing the efficiency of small businesses, and connecting them to wider markets. This initiative can lead to increased job creation, rising income levels, and overall economic recovery which are vital for the inclusive recovery and future stability of Taiz Governorate and Yemen.
The Hack is scheduled to take place on November 14 and 23.
