EQUITABLE AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING

Copenhagen is experiencing a growing demand for affordable housing. Yet, conventional expansion risks exceeding planetary boundaries and creating issues like infrastructure strain, gentrification, and regional inequality. Housing is more than shelter. It requires security, access to services, and connected communities.

At the Ramboll office in Copenhagen, Talents will rethink how urban housing solutions can reduce environmental impact while promoting social equity, wellbeing, and regional balance. They will explore alternative construction methods, smarter use of urban space, innovative financing, and community-based models to unlock just, resilient, and regenerative pathways for affordable housing.
