The UNLEASH x Rambøll Built Environment Workshop Series Is Here!
Last year, we announced our partnership with the Ramboll Foundation and Ramboll Group to reimagine the future of the built environment in Europe. That partnership has since come to life through three Hacks and the UNLEASH Europe Innovation Lab. Now, we’re continuing it with a workshop series for the wider UNLEASH community.
What’s happening
From October 21 to December 2, we’re hosting four workshops, each led by a Ramboll Expert digging into a different challenge shaping our cities. These are one-hour online sessions, open to anyone in the UNLEASH community, not just this year’s Innovation Lab or Hack participants.
Each session includes a keynote from our guest expert, a live Q&A, and breakout rooms to connect with the rest of the community. Each workshop stands on its own, so you can join the ones that speak to you most.
The four workshops
Just Green Transition Beyond Cities. Wednesday, October 21, 16:00–17:00 (GMT+2), with Mayra Reis. How do we build a green transition that includes rural and smaller communities, not just cities?
AI in Urban Design. Wednesday, November 11, 16:00–17:00 (GMT+1), with Nitsan Bartov. What happens when AI becomes a new layer between urban data and design decisions – and what are the risks of trusting it too much?
Participatory Urban Planning. Wednesday, November 18, 16:00–17:00 (GMT+1), with Maya Shpiro. Whose voices are missing from how we design public space, and what happens when we design with them instead of for them?
Climate Adaptation in Urban Planning. Wednesday, December 2, 16:00–17:00 (GMT+1), with Sasha Mosky. How can nature-based and blue-green infrastructure help cities adapt to a changing climate?
