UNLEASH Hack Uganda: Employment-first Solutions builds on the 2024 Employment First Policy and Practice (EFPP) course, which engaged people with disabilities, students, and employers, and generated over 50 community-based ideas to promote meaningful employment for persons with disabilities but revealed the need for stronger support to move ideas into action. The two-day online Hack will enable Talents to work closely with UNLEASH Facilitators and mentors to refine their ideas using the UNLEASH innovation process. The Hack will engage 30 selected EFPP Alumni through focused online sessions on Problem Framing, Ideating, and Prototyping, and will aim to strengthen their ideas into scalable, community-driven solutions to employment challenges for persons living with disability in Uganda.
