UNLEASH Plus 2021 will be taking place online and engage 113 teams working on solutions that address all 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). UNLEASH Plus is a leading global incubation program co-hosted by Lead Scale Partner, Chemonics International, and supports young entrepreneurs in launching and scaling disruptive solutions to address major sustainability challenges.

UNLEASH Plus 2021 is a six-month incubation program for entrepreneurs working on solutions that address the SDGs.  This year is the first time UNLEASH has accepted both teams from within and outside the UNLEASH community, and the interest has been overwhelming. The program had initially been planned to engage a maximum of 70 teams, but due to the incredible quality of applications, UNLEASH has now accepted 113 solutions working in teams of 2-5 people. The teams work on solutions ranging across all 17 SDGs and represent more than 50 countries.

UNLEASH Plus will start on August 28 and include of an immersive two-day kick-off, a 21-week practical and robust online learning program including access to Potentialife’s leadership program, and a final four-day event where teams receive targeted support from global experts and pitch their ventures to a panel of judges to secure seed funding.

During the program, teams will create an effective and inclusive startup strategy, build a cohesive vision and team, develop clear financials to further commercial viability, gain insight into fundraising, design solution delivery for scale, determine a go to market approach, and learn to measure their impact.
