The Aurora Box provides mental health tool to expecting parents such as: educational booklets, a thermometer, children’s book about Inuit culture, a toy, outdoor equipment or suggestions of activities. Integrated with Greenland’s existing healthcare structure, every expecting parent will be signed up to receive the box when they have their first appointment with a midwife. The boxes will be delivered to their doorstep every year from pregnancy until the child reaches 10 years of age. The box offers long-term support to the parents, bringing them only the relevant tools and information at the time when they need it.
