Currently, 61 municipalities in Amazonas are in a state of emergency due to extreme drought. Therefore, the creation of a water collection system model is suggested as a sustainable alternative for agricultural production through the Buriti plant. The use of this system in the community would yield positive results for local farmers, as well as for the population. Farmers would benefit from stored water during the most critical period of the drought. Meanwhile, the population living in the region would be benefited by the regular supply of raw materials produced, ensuring replenishment, nutrition, and a low possibility of food inflation.
