The Tukano people are facing hunger and a lack of basic necessities, leading them to leave their territory due to the absence of income and opportunities. To address this issue, the creation of CEITSI – the Center for Innovation and Indigenous Knowledge Technologies – has been conceived. This center will operate based on three pillars: research, training and support to youth, and the commercialization of traditional products. It will be an innovation hub that bridges tradition and the future, equipping Indigenous youth to lead their own development, valuing ancestral knowledge, and contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals.
