Luz do Lar (Home’s Light) seeks to address a critical issue faced by many riverside communities in the Amazon: the lack of reliable electricity supply alternatives. Many of these communities rely on unstable, expensive, and polluting energy sources or have no continuous access to electricity at all. This drastically impacts daily life and limits the economic and social development of these populations. Luz do Lar offers a sustainable solution that brings clean energy to communities through biogas generation. By utilizing organic waste, materials that would otherwise be discarded are transformed into renewable energy, providing an ecological and efficient alternative to conventional energy sources.
