In Greenland, there is a persisting disconnected between the local Inuit knowledge bearers and non-Greenlandic scientists travelling here to do research. Time, money, and effort is lost from these logistics. A solution is necessary to bridge this gap and improve the experience for both Inuit and researchers. INUvation streamlines how Indigenous experts are contacted by scientists. INUvation is the catalog of Inuit knowledge bearers: a tangible and feasible solution foran increasing need to merge scientists with Greenlandic Inuit knowledge. INUvation aims at achieving respectful cooperation between both groups and to empower Indigenous communities by removing the time and knowledge burden on them. By rebuilding trust and involving all parties from the early stages, meaningful research can be accomplished.
