More than 70% of cassava seeds have been lost in Uiramutã. Kisemun, the project for the first cassava nursery and cassava traditions center in Roraima, aims to ensure that cassava species do not become extinct. This initiative goes beyond food security; it will be a structure for protecting the cassava culture and its traditions, fostering the appreciation of the ancestral knowledge of Indigenous peoples, increasing production, and creating innovative channels for exchanging experiences and knowledge of the territory.
