BESTSELLER Foundation partners with UNLEASH
With a long-standing commitment to UNLEASH’s mission, BESTSELLER Foundation has been instrumental in making this year’s Innovation Lab in Rwanda a reality.
Our journey with BESTSELLER began in 2017 when they participated in the inaugural UNLEASH Innovation Lab in Denmark. Since then, they have continuously supported UNLEASH’s programs, such as the role of BESTSELLER Foundation in making Race for Oceans – an initiative to address plastic pollution – a global platform.
This time around, BESTSELLER Foundation is supporting the Circular Economy Track, an essential mechanism to mitigate the current environmental challenges around the world. This commitment reflects their dedication to fostering sustainable solutions and their determination to address global challenges head-on.
”We’re excited to once again partner with UNLEASH to help the future design for the future. UNLEASH is about igniting innovation among the young – this year happening on the ‘youngest’ continent in the world. We can’t wait to see the solutions these changemakers will come up with – and to experience the energy across Kigali in December,” says Managing Director of BESTSELLER Foundation, Tine Fisker Henriksen.
Through their involvement, BESTSELLER Foundation is helping to shape a more sustainable and equitable future, in line with UNLEASH’s core mission. “It is an honor to have a dedicated partner such as BESTSELLER Foundation on our first Innovation Lab in the African continent, as they have seen UNLEASH’s progress unfold since the very first Innovation Lab in their home, back in 2017, when UNLEASH took place in Aarhus, Denmark,” says Chairperson of UNLEASH, Prof. Flemming Besenbacher.
As UNLEASH Rwanda unfolds, we look forward to discover the 30+ solutions that over a hundred young changemakers will develop within the Circular Economy Track.
